Flawless

I just want to share something really quick...
Last night as I was washing up for bed, I looked in the mirror and began pointing out all my flaws and insecurities that I have. I began to think, "wow, I do not like that", and "maybe I can do this instead so that so I can feel better about myself."
Immediately I froze, and I began to think to think "why am I speaking this way?"
Of course it is good to do things for yourself to feel better due to mental health necessities.
Although, this night was a bit different... God spoke peacefully to me and I was reminded of the story of Daniel.
The acknowledgement of knowing how Daniel was the youngest of the brothers (who as we read, were superior and stronger than Daniel).
As we continue to read the story, we also see how much confidence and joy David was full of. Even though he was seen as weak, he was more than what others thought of him. Later in the story he was victorious and slayed the mightiest warrior; Goliath.
Now we can think... did he do this because he knew he could? No... He did it because he knew the power of the name of the Lord. He did not come forth with his own name or his own strength. Because He knew that his outer appearance had nothing against what he had internally. He knew that God was with him and with God all things are possible.
Tonight as I go to bed, I will remember that story and I will rest in awe of how wonderful God is and how he loves regardless of how we see ourselves. The flaws we see in ourselves, are flawless to Him.
To him we are strong even when we feel weak.
To him we can do anything through His name even even when we feel like we cannot do it alone.
To him we are perfect even even when we feel otherwise.
To him to him we are capable even when we don't feel like we are enough.
I encourage you to remember this story each time you look in a mirror.
You were made for a purpose.
You were fearfully and wonderfully made.
You have what it takes.
You are enough.
Please... never give up and never give in to the lies that are unhealthy. They are darts of the enemy that will never prevail as long as you cling fast unto what the Lord's voice and the plans He has for your future.
Slay the giants in your life by wearing the armor of Christ and see how quickly the enemy will flee.
Reminder: you are flawless.
1 Samuel 17:45
"David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied."
Song of Solomon 4:7
"You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you."
