Understanding: the ability to understand something; comprehension.
Have you ever had a season that felt as if all was out of order and not in the norm? Well, I’m pretty sure this is something we can all agree to experiencing whether it be one or plenty times in life.
Currently, I have a memory in my mind that replays like a broken record and is a constant battle that I am overcoming… It gains control of my thoughts and tends to give unpleasant emotions of defeat and high disturbance. Though, I can easily change my mindset to dwell on more pleasant and reassuring speculations (which I have become a master at), I know it is also important to face the matter head on rather than be tournmented with the negativity of a cluttered mind.
Proverbs 3:5-6 declares, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall gdirect thy paths.”
After reading this passage, I realized that not knowing and not understanding in the moment is not a setback, but a time to be still in reassurance of peace. I think with the access of Google, we have come to grasp all in the snap of a finger and have access served in the palm of our hands in any given moment of need which has secretly trained us to be impatient in the most patient times.
Instead of allowing the whys and worries of life have the ticket into our stage of life, I believe we shall give authority to time... especially when healing and reconciliation is desired.
Instead of thinking, "I am empty handed", allow the little pieces of the puzzle to fall in place as you gather and connect them one by one. Time is precious and of the essence, not thoughta that wage war.
As of now, I choose to grant hope to be at the forefront of my inner thoughts and to know that the best is still yet to come, instead of allowing negativity to take over or even have a foothold.
For the Father says that His burden is light and His yoke is easy. I will lay my burdens at His feet and walk away knowing that all will be well in a matter of time.
I encourage you to walk with me if you are feeling this way. You are not alone my friend, keep the faith🕊
Matthew 11:30
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
