Tremendously blessed

Since I have joined the KTMA Demo Team, I have been tremendously blessed.

Although I do not speak openly about what I go through health wise on a daily bases, I have seen and felt an improvement in my movements, body and health.

In 2018 I had a health scare due to a recalled medication called 'Levofloxacin', which nearly paralyzed me and almost took my life. By the grace of God, I survived. I give credit to those who prayed with declaration and proclaimed supernatural healing. Reminiscing on it now, every day I struggled to get out of bed, yet alone, open my own water bottle... the weakness I have felt is nothing compared to the strength I have gained and am still gaining while being in taekwondo. By the words of my sister Sabina (who has hoshimoto, another disease I overcome on the daily), "If we are going to hurt, let's hurt for a good reason." Another reason I joined for health. Is it still difficult? EXTREMELY. My tendons, muscles, nerves and body is not 100% but that doesn't mean I will ever stop. Even while tearing an acl after my treatment and within the first few weeks of being in taekwondo, I continue to strive to be a better version of myself and believe in rejuvenation through healthy eating, exercise and surrounding myself with like minded people who are motivating and inspirational.

Words nor actions will never express my gratefulness to each master, teacher and individual who has bestowed uplifting words and contentment to my mindset and life.

If you are reading this, know that there is always light at the end of every dark tunnel and there is always a way when there seems to be none. Believe in yourself. Never give up. Continue to live. Choose to live. Be the one who lives.

1. Surround yourself with good people

2. Never give up. Your mind is powerful, so dwell on goodness and protect it

3. Don't underestimate yourself or the accomplishments you achieve

Ps, According to the withings scale, my body is now 84% muscle. 🤯 👏
